1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to the website at arka.vulntech.com (the “Website”), the live demo linked from it and the files offered for download on it. The Website is operated by VulnTech, India (“VulnTech”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
The Arka software itself is licensed under the separate Arka License Agreement. If these terms and the License Agreement differ about the software, the License Agreement applies.
2. Using the Website
You may use the Website to learn about Arka, try the live demo and download the software. You agree not to:
- attack, probe, overload or try to break into the Website, the live demo or the update service, or interfere with other visitors' use of them;
- use automated means to access the Website in a way that places an unreasonable load on it;
- misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organisation;
- use the Website for any unlawful purpose.
Security research is welcome when it follows our security and disclosure policy.
3. The live demo
The live demo is a shared, read-only installation of Arka with sample data, provided so you can evaluate the software. It may be changed, reset or taken offline at any time without notice. Do not enter personal information or anything confidential into it. Everything shown in the demo is sample data.
4. Downloads
Software downloaded from the Website or from our update service at upgrades.vulntech.com is licensed, not sold, under the Arka License Agreement. Each release is signed by VulnTech; only install Arka obtained from these addresses.
5. Intellectual property
The Website, its content, the Arka software, and the names and logos “Arka” and “VulnTech” belong to VulnTech or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may link to the Website and refer to Arka by name. You may not use our logos or suggest that VulnTech endorses you or your products without our written permission.
6. Links to other websites
The Website may link to websites run by others, such as the projects whose components Arka uses. We are not responsible for their content or their practices.
7. No warranty
The Website and the live demo are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VulnTech gives no warranty that they will be available, accurate, complete or free of errors.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VulnTech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Website or the live demo. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed; continuing to use the Website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have where you live.
